  1. fatter how exactly, what are your parameters? As in tank size, inhabitants, ammonia nitrite nitrate readings etc.? With these things answered it is easier to tell you what could be wrong and how to treat.


  2. He is more than likely suffering from bloat.  Do you feed him floating foods and do you have salt in the aquarium?

    Keep the salt out of the aquarium.  The only salt that should be used and used for medical reasons is Epsom salts.  This salt isn't like any other and won't interfear with a fishi's ability to utilize the water they absorb.

    Dose the same as you would aquarium salt.  Also, if you are feeding floating foods, switch to sinking or flakes.

    Keep the temperatures cooler as well.

    If he still eats don't forget to feed them green veggies on a weekly basis.  His bloat could be complecated by a swim bladder the green veggies will help
