My tiny dogs poo is very thin and dark and she strains to go, could this be a blockage of some sort??

She is active and has a good appetite, but pants more after exercise. Shes 5 1/2 yrs old. she was spayed about five months ago, and developed a bleeding ulcer from pain medication. She was a hurricane refuge when I got her .three years ago.

If by "dark" is there black-ish blood in it? She could have an intestinal blockage.

    If you're worried, I'd take her in to the vet. Better be safe in then sorry.
