My tires got slashed, should I call the cops?

I think I know who slashed my tires last week. I have no proof and I'm not sure the police will be able to do anything about it. We go to the same church and her grandson and my grandson are always fighting and have been for years. Should I just pay someone to have it "taken care of" or should I just slash her tires myself to get back at her? I need help can anyone relate?

Just so I have this right. You know the possible suspect from church and you are wondering if you should have someone "take care of it" for you or slash her tires yourself?? Are you planning on doing this in the parking lot of the church too? What if it wasnt her or her grandson but a random act? I say let the officers take care of it for you. they can investigate your lead themselves. Malicious Destruction of Property (MDOP) is a misdemeanor and slashing tires is.......mdop.

Well what ever you do don't slash her tires. Make out a police report,and you can give them your suspicions, and maybe they can keep an eye out, but unfortunately that's the best that can be done.

Do not get even by slashing her tires, you know that is wrong. File a police report its free. It will put her name out there as a possible threat to you and your family, and it's legal!

About all the cops can do is make a report on it, big help thatd be huh?

If you go to slash their tires, a cop might just ride by about the time you do it then there you will be... Not a good answer for this one.
