My tmobile wifi card is being slow (internet card) WHY? please help me?

i got the T-mobile sony ericsson GC89 internet card for my laptop and its being ery slow ( it is my only sorce of internet that i got dont got comcast verizon or anything just this internet card) and its alot slower then when i had comcast before and i cant get any other internet service for awhile so i gotta keep this but why is it being slow i just got it about 5 hours ago and how can i make it faster like my computer is fast just the internet is very slow how can i make it faster .. and why is it being slow?

Well if you are on the T-Mobile GSM/GPRS or Edge you will be slow compaired to DSL or Cable. It is not near as fast, its just the way it works.

If you connect to a wifi system then the speed will be that of whatever speed is on the WIFI router. So at t-mobile hot spots or other wifi systems you can have speed!

Basically the speed you get depends on what you connect into.
