What should I do for my toddler's birthday next week. Her name's Leah. She's really into princesses (her name means little princess). I was thinking go to the zoo and then head out to the children's playhouse for a princess story reading? What do you think?

  1. I am not sure if you are having other kids come, the zoo will probably be more than enough though. Zoo's wear me out, the sun, and walking around all day, I would think it would be enough fun for a group of small kids too. Maybe a packed lunch picnic at the zoo, and afternoon cake with princess decoration at your house. Sounds like a day.

  2. That would be cute!!

Or you could have a tea party where all of them dress up as princesses. Maybe you could even have someone come to your house dressed up as a princess and have each girl take a picture with her! And then they could even decorate a foam picture frame to put the picture in!! For a party favor, you could give out wands, princess stickers, etc. You could make all of the plates, napkins, cups, etc. princess theme!

Good luck and hope this helps!!!!

  3. That would be very cute! If she's inviting some toddler friends, and the parents are game for taking their kids to 2 different places, then I'd do it! Although, the kids will probably melt down during the 2nd activity, if they hadn't already at the zoo! I think the zoo would be plenty! Or, just have the party at the children's playhouse!

You could always do a toddler pool party=)

All you really need is a small wading pool, water sprinkler, fun music, bubbles, and popsicles... and the kids will love it! Add lawn chairs for the parents, and the party will be set!

Of course, you can have a princess themed party, or any theme for that matter.

A little girl I babysit had a "Princess Tea Party" for her 3rd birthday. All of her friends wore their favorite "princess dresses" and got to bring their doll along! They had a tea party picnic, with dancing, cupcakes, and a craft:)

  4. That sounds really fun, but I would guess that might be  a bit long for a toddler. My kids (ages 2 and 3) get tired after about 2 hours, so you may consider doing just one activity. My little girl is turning two next week, and we are having a teddybear picnic.

Last year I had a princess party for her. We just had family come, but we made barrettes with ribbons coming off of them and a wire garland for her head with ribbon coming off it. (the curling ribbon. you see these at disney land and renassaince fairs)
