whatever happened to steve from blues clues? i dont like this new guy joe! my 25 month old agrees!! lol steve was way cooler. where did he go and why did they bring in this new guy? i have wondered this for a long time but i have heard so many different rumores about him. lol does anyone know what really happened to poor steve?

i miss steve too! he was rumored to have overdosed on heroin and to have been put in jail because of heroin posession. however, wikipedia claims that he left the show after his role in the show was "beginning to chafe". he left to pursue his music career. He has an album called "Songs for Dustmites" that was produced in his home in Brooklyn.

He wanted to do other things and become a musicon he said he didn't want to lose hair on a childrens show.He doesn't have cancer but he did shave his head the day of his last eppisode because they would never let him do that and he always wanted to.BTW I only know all this from Wikipedia.
