My toes are EXTREAMLY sensitive. If I hit them on something the hurt REALLY bad. They pop constantly. I was vacuming my house yesterday and I droped a quarter on them and it hurt so bad. It almost brought me to tears. Is there a way I can fix them so they dont hurt anymore. Or is there something I can do to make them pain tolerant?

  1. Go to the doctor!

  2. I have toes sensitive to pain also. My problem was caused by blood clots in the legs that damaged the nerves. I cannot even shower because the water hitting my toes hurts too much. I take Lyrica which is the only pain medicine that I know of that works for nerve pain instead of muscle pain. None of the narcotics work.

  3. i agree go to the doctor

  4. every night soak your feet in hot-as-you-can-enjoy tub of water with some dish detergent mixed in for about 15Min's.  After your soak, rub the bottom of your entire foot and rub each toe and move it around and pull gently on each one.  The one big question is: are the toe areas of your shoes to tight?  Got to be loose(Clark brand shoes are nice and wide in the toe area). You can also wear sandals were the toes are completely in the open: all the toes, even the little one. Try some gel foot inserts for your shoes, but don't make it so toes compress more.

The last thing I did with my toe problems was to wrap the painful toes.  I put a corn pad(up to 3: bottom and sides of toe) on each painful toe and some took only one pad the bad ones took 3 pads.  I covered each padded toe with 2 regular fabric band aids(not cheaper plastic band aids).  I checked with my M.D. and was told I could keep them on for a week at a time.  Both both my foot doctor and family M.D. said it is very important to keep your feet clean: always.

  5. see a doctor.  but you can buy steeled toes boots or shoes to keep toes safe from dropping something on them
