Question:

My toilet doesn't properly flush or completely fill up with new water unless I hold down handle

If I just quickly flip the toilet flush lever the contents of the toilet are about 75% flushed out and the new water that comes into the toilet comes up to the level of about 75% of were it should be. If I hold down the lever while it flushes then everything is flushed out and the incoming water level is higher. So basically that little stopper or whatever it is called that is in my tank is lowering too soon. Is there any way to easily fix this? Most tanks I have looked at have a chain that is attached to the stopper, but mine has a plastic connector.

  1. The flapper will close at a preset level. First, check to see if the water level in the tank is correct. There should be a mark on the inner wall of the tank. It sounds as if it is set too low. Adjust the float to allow more water in. Second, Make sure the small fill tube is spraying water down the overflow tube (this is where the flap connects to). It should work properly if these adjustments are taken care of.

  2. maybe u ball pump does't work as always it spring dot kick to the setting lever and make it jam u just check the ball spring and u can adjust it by screwdriver to fix it lever back

  3. I am not familiar with this plastic connector. Can you replace it with a  flapper  that has a chain?? you would be better off.
