My toliet will flush only water?

my toliet will only flush water,the tp will stay but will have new water in bowl

if plunging doesn't work you probably have one of the early low flow toilets from the 80's.  They were terrible.  If this is the case I would suggest buying a new commode from Lowes or HD.  Modern toilets work much much better than those older ones.

have you tried heavy duty plunging ....if so you will probably have to have it checked out...

Get a 10 litre bucket, fill it with water , ensure water level is at its lowest point and dump the whole 10lts real quick like. Have you recently lost one of those toilet things that hang on the side of the toilet? If you have you will need it out , it will be trapped in the 's' bend , get a wire coat hanger straighten it and try to hook it out. Good luck

sounds like your water is moving to slow through the toilet try using a plunger several times you may have a clogged line or if you are on a septic system your tank may need to be pumped, if not try this hold the toilet flush lever down, if it flushes you could try adjusting the water level in the tank or the flapper valve may need to be adjusted. When doing this if the water level in the bowl rises high then goes down you have a clog in the line, hope this helps.
