For some reason, I'm not sure why it's happening, but my tongue feels swollen and burning, and anything I eat I can't taste at all. And I can't remember doing anything that could have caused it. Help?...

  1. Hmm, normally this happens when someone has burned their tongue on hot food or drink (or sucks on a piece of dry ice).  Occasionally you can bite your tongue in your sleep and get the same result.  Look at it in the mirror?  If it continues for another  24 hours please see your physician.  Take care.

  2. ate something you're mildly allergic to?

    Or Dave's Insanity hot sauce?

That's about the hottest thing I've ever had in my life.. Gave me a CHEMICAL BURN on my tongue. No joke. Don't believe me? Try the stuff yourself!
