My tooth at the back of my mouth is extremely painful, anything that I can do to reduce the pain?

Any suggestion that is appropriate to do to get the pain calmer or get rid of it completely? Thankyou.

  1. Take pain killers for now, then see a dentist ASAP.


  2. Try some crushed aspirin direct to the area or tooth if its a hole.

  3. Clove oil rubbed on the tooth is great to help relieve tooth pain. Also, painkillers. You could also try a salt water rinse as well.

    Also, I have held a cold cloth to the area, it won't get rid of the pain, but it can help.

    Plus, the obvious - see your dentist as soon as possible.

  4. i suffer from toothache all the time i found ambesol oil or clove oil very effective hope these helps or bonjela aswell  

  5. well when i got my wisdom teeth out (very painful) i used Solphadene soluble tablets. When u use them in water try and hold it in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing, it numbs the pain. If u are still in a lot of pain afterwards it might be time to see a dentist.

  6. Clove oil is good and Bonjela works as well. They should tide you over until you get to a dentist.
