I got in the head with a football at school today [it was tilted vertically and so managed to hit my eye, cheek, and mouth] a few hours ago and now one of my teeth is tingling. Normal?

  1. I'm guessing it has something to do with the football.

  2. it's probably your gums reacting to the impact. if it still bothers you, ask your dentist, or doctor

  3. just go to the doctor

  4. suck it up!

  5. if it was a very hard impact, should contact DDS

  6. It sounds like you have temporary nerve damage.  It should clear up.

  7. look up "tooth concussion" on the internet, see if this applies to you.

  10. Ok let me start off by saying your tooth will not fall out. Is it loose? Is the gum around it swollen and red? Just to be on the safe side I would say go to the dentist and let them take an x-ray. That will show whether or not the tooth is fractured or moved. Then if there is something wrong with the tooth the dentist can give you some options. But don't panic. Just get to the dentist as soon as you can.

  11. OMG tell your mom to take you to the dentist tomorrow morning becuase one of your teeth might fall out

  12. ah no. Its not normal. you need to see your dentist.
