the noise doesn't effect how the machine washes, it just is very load and I feel it could become a bigger issue if I let it go

  1. Try leveling your machine, sounds like it is off balance

  2. If it happens only during the spin cycle, your machine is out of balance.  You need to make sure that the machine is level from side to side and back to front.  You adjust the feet to make it level.  You may also be overloading your machine and the load it getting off balance.  Make sure that when you load the machine  you do it evenly and that you don't overload the machine.  If it continues, you may have to call for service.

  3. yeah, the drum inside is loose.....my moms washer does that, and it will most definitely get more and more loose......probably be cheaper to just get a new washer than to get it repaired

  4. I think Phantomo might be right, check and see if the inner drum is loose from the rest of the transmission. You can just reach in (when not running, of course) and see if the drum seems to wiggle around too easily. If so, remove the agitator and any other parts necessary to get to the big nut that holds the inner drum to the spin tube. Clean off any gock present so you can see the nut and check if it is loose. If it is, I would suggest removing, cleaning the threads of the shaft and the nut well and re-installing, if the nut is split or badly corroded get another one. Depending on the brand of machine, the direction of hyper-spin rotation and whether the nut is left or right hand threads, and if it has a brake to slow the unit after transitioning out of hyper-spin, you can get the bang on entering or leaving hyperspin mode. Typically they make it so the nut thread direction tightens when it slams into hyper-spin. If there is an automatic brake to slow the unit when you open the lid, or at the end of the spin cycle, it has a tendency to unscrew the retaining nut when the brake engages, (typically at the end of hyper-spin or if you open lid during hyper-spin mode) because the basket wants to keep turning, while the spin tube is stationary..

  5. sounds like it may be off balance a little you may need to re level your machine
