  1. 1. As many suggested google search would give you a better knowledge.

    2. Visit nearest conservation departments, if any, to collect good source of authentic information.

    3. Study more about the United Nations effort in conservation and protection of endangered species. This is very authentic information for you to base and construct your arguments.

    4. Government laws on poaching and protection of endangered species should be more insightful as well.

    5. When you search info, Concentrate on Africa and Poaching, India and tiger conservation, South-east asia and animal species, China and illegal trades of animal products and stuff like that.

  2. Use Wikipedia. It tells you everything you need to know. Just search 'endangered species'.

  3. That's a pretty darn generic question.  The arguments basically come down to this:  1) Protecting endangered species is foolish and expensive.  Species have always come and gone.  Nobody cares if a mussel or cockroach becomes extinct.  We should focus on the welfare of people first.

    2) Other species have as much right to exist as people, and we have no right to destroy them.  Endangered species act as a "canary in the coal mine" warning us of environmental problems which will eventually affect people too.

You're going to need to do some real research on this, I'm afraid.  Try the library.  Good luck.
