  1. i am a highly ranked regional tennis tournament player in the southeast. i used to have the same exact problem that you are having. what you need to do is have your coach help you move your western grip over. a western grip is way to hard to hit with. i recommend using a semi-western grip.

  2. it can be true, if that does not work, maybe you need to move forward on the court.

  3. It could either be the way your swinging the raquet that's the problem, consult your coach and have him watch your strokes during practice. Allot of times when this happens it's usually that the player doesn't have the appropriate raquet equipped to handle their style of play. I used to have the same problem, because I'm an extremely aggressive player and generate allot of power with every stroke, so I needed a raquet that had tight strings on it and gave me topspin and power control. Everytime I served it's like the strings swallowed the ball, it was horrible and very frustrating, so I started testing other raquets and found one I could use. If I were you, I'd maybe check out other raquets.

  4. hey

i've been at a tennis school for 4 years

    and trust me,

there have been a few of these problems.

it really depends where you hit the ball.

if it's low then that's bad.

    a high shot is okay.

a semi-western grip would be better....

but if you don't want to change then, i reckon' you should just bend your knees more, or maybe change your string tension.

    goodluck

  5. that's right..tell ur coach to help u with this problem...a western grip is simply too hard to hit...it is more suitable for those who want to have an all out HARD-HITTING game...plus a western grip is not suitable for your wrist..

..i'll give an eg....Sania mIrza had a FULL western grip when she started....her coaches got her  corrected...coz she just went too hard on some shots and ultimately missed them long..now she  also has a semi-western grip...look at ehr progress...

i don't know anything about techniques in Tennis..but i can suggest u is try to some more backswing while hiting your FH..
