  1. sometime when a tortoise has a growth spurt the outer edges of the scutes look white, but if it starts to get bigger or spreads then it is best if you get it checked out by a reptile vet, if your tortoise is happy eating and active it is probably where she is growing, but without a picture it is hard to tell what it is, if it spreads it could be shell rot and need treatment,

  2. Just poor some water on him the rings will disappear if it's what my tortoises had.

  3. I don't keep torts, but i'm going to make an educated guess at mould? Fugus? Burn from lightbulb?

If you even notice a change in your pets appearance or bbehaviour, it needs a vet as no one can ever tell you for sure at least without a pic.

  4. Not fungus, unless you keep her in dirty water,

Not  a burn, tortoises ( in the wild) are outside all the time.

I'm guessing it's a growth spurt, buy some VITA-SHELL from your local pet store ( not petsmart/petco) and buy some.

It help with shedding. Don't take her to a vet unless it spreads.

  5. Have you tried bathing her to see if it washes off?
