  1. Try taking him out on your normal hacking rout to get him use to where he is going. You don't need to ride him but take him out on a head collar and leadrope (If he tends to bolt then a lunge line). Take some treats out with you because, they will do anything for a treat. We he has been good give him a treat and a fuss so he knows he has been good.

If he is scared of certain objects you need to get him use to them better. I know of a horse who is afrade of plastic bags and so all his owner had to do was put treets into a bag and leave it in the yard. He shortly figgured out that plastic bags are fun :)

Also good choice on breed and colour.

    Good luck!

  2. First, I'm a huge Welsh fan so good job with your breed pick.  You say your pony was broken at age 2, but it doesn't sound to me like he's ever been very broke!  You've apparently had problems with him on the ground and on his back from the beginning.  I strongly suggest that both you and your pony get together with a good trainer immediately and find out exactly what you're both doing right and wrong.  It's impossible to say just from your post but you definately need professional help.  He sounds like he has a lot of potential and you seem very fond of him but it can be hard to turn these kind of behavior problems around once they become habits, so seek help asap before one of you gets hurt, ok?  Good luck and don't give up.
