My truck C.D Player won't play burned c.d's?

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport and I've tried playing burned C.D's in it but it won't work. What do I need to do.. I burn them with Windows media player. I don't know if it's the player or the way I burn them or what. Please help!!

  1. You will need a Media player or a MP 3 players you can lesson to music from your CD in the  2000 Dodge Dakota Sport All you have to do in burn it from your computter and injoy it I never heard of the truck that could do that . I hope my  tip work for you.


  2. Surprised? Your factory unit will not play burnt cd's,this is normal,you need an aftermarket unit to play these..

  3. Most stock CD players won't read the MP3 format.  You'd need to burn a CD-R (not a CD-RW) in CD-Audio format (CDA).  Then it should work in any CD player.

  4. Are you burning a regular audio cd or are you trying to play mp3's.

    Most factory radios won't play cd's with Mp3's.
