  1. most likely customs will give you a funny look if you are trying to just bring tires into Canada unless you have a police report and your truck is stuck here without tires.  Otherwise just put a cheap set of tires and put the good ones on when you get back home.  I think it will save you a lot of hassle at the border with customs.


  2. Yes, but why just claim on your auto insurance; then you have a claim number. (Just a thought)
