  1. You had a procedure and you didn't know what it was supposed to do?? Having your tubes clamped or tied PREVENTS pregnancy - that's the point.

  2. Oh my God.  You went through a surgical procedure and had no idea what it was for?  If you are a female who has had her tubes "tied", the procedure is to PREVENT pregnancy for heaven's sake.  Before going through any surgical procedure, you should really be more informed.   If the doctor has taken out a piece of your fallopian tube, like he should have done, there is a slim chance of having it reversed if you ever want to become pregnant. However, this is suppose to be a permanent solution.  If the doctor just tied them off, a reversal is more likely to work.

If you are a male who has had a vasectomy, if done properly, you will not be able to get a woman pregnant.

  3. It would probably be easier to reverse than having the tubes severed.

  4. i dont understand what do you mean clamped off?

  5. No, that's why it's considered permanent sterilization. You can get a tubal reversal done but there are no guarantees on it being successful.
