  1. Don't help.

  2. Make sure he's been soaking in water beforehand, and avoid anything that's over or really close to the eyes

  3. Dont peel him this is shed.  Your turtle is growing and healthy.  Their shell is made of the same thing our fingernails are made of.  Would you peel your fingernail off.  and yes they do feel it.  It will come off on its own.

The skin peel will come off on its own as well.  Put him/her in a room temp bath.  The skin peel is normal.  Dont peel this either

  4. As long as it's so loose it could almost fall off by itself. Make sure you don't peel to far or you could damage the tender skin underneath. Just be careful, and don't peel his face.

  5. Don't peel it!!! Let it peel by itself...no matter how ugly it gets. If you want to help that much, they sell a spray at Petco for reptiles that you spray on them and it helps them peel faster. My boyfriend bought this for his Chameleon and it worked = )
