  2. Yes. If you have an Audio Output in your TV, and an AUX input in your home theater system, then you can connect an RCA cable from those 2 connections, and get high quality sound.

  3. Well first change the source cable or satellite video to tv and audio to audio receiver. Or line out audio on TV to audio receiver. If you need a HDTV receiver for the up coming change, run the audio from the to the audio receiver.
