My tv burned out, i think....HELP PLEASEE

Question

I need help. So i was watching tv today for like 9 hours straight and it was hot so i figured it just got hot and turned off on its own. Cause i was watching tv awhile ago and the screen got darker then went blank. But the light was still green. so i turned it off then on then off and it didn't work. THen i checked on another tv to see if it was just the cable

but it worked fine. about five min. ago i checked to see if it worked again and it didnt. Can anyone help me? this tv is really expensive too >.<

Hmm, if it&#039;s a plasma those are known for getting hot.

Something similar happened to me, but with an olevia 40&quot; LCD, I called the manufacturer for help and they said it&#039;s toast and can&#039;t be fixed. After calling around, one place said to simply unplug it from the wall for an hour and plug it back in, supposedly to reset the system. Surprisingly it worked! It still works till this day, that was about 7 months ago.

This might work for you, it&#039;s worth a try a guess.

You need to say what type your TV is ! CRT or other type .
