My tv cuts off part of my screen when i play my xbox 360. How do I fix it?

I've already looked under all the settings on my tv. I think it has something to do with the aspect wide ratio, but i have no idea what that means, or how to use that to fix my problem. Please someone who knows what their talking about, help.

First, make sure you are using the component video cables between your xbox and your TV. Those will be the Red/Green/Blue instead of the single yellow. You still need the red/white audio.

Next, your TV is widescreen and if your picture is still cut off, find a button on the remote (a make and model would have helped) that says format, aspect, picture, or something else along the same lines. When you find the right button, it will allow you to switch the aspect ratio of your TV between standard, wide, zoom, etc... Just keep pressing it until things line up properly.

i think you should ask the place where you bought the xbox. bring it w/you.

if it is a wide screen tv then it would cut off the sides

look in you xbox settings for widescreen
