  1. You need a device called an "RF Modulator". This little box has video & L/R audio jacks on one side, and CATV coax connector on the other.  It sits between the DVD player and the TV. Tune the TV to channel 3 and fire up the DVD player and you are gold.

  2. Your set most probably has an input jack of some kind. Its often marked 'ant in'.You may have an older set with two screws on the back for flat-lead antenna wire. If so, you can obtain a 300 ohm pigtail to F-connector-a transformer that'll accept regular 75 ohm coax cable. If your DVD player has a coaxial output, you're in business for a couple of bucks! Just run your DVD's output to the transformer's F-fitting. If not, another few bucks for a F-fitting adaptor to fit whichever type of output your DVD player has.

    Good Luck!

  3. The question you need to ask yourself is if it is worth investing ANY money in this old TV anymore, there is pretty good chance your TV falls into the category of ones that will not work at all once broadcasters switch to digital broadcasts ( early 2009), so you can upgrade and begin enjoying infinitely better picture quality right now or punish yourself for two more years when you will HAVE to buy a new TV.
