My tv has no picture but i can hear sound when i plug in my xbox.?

i plug in my xbox and i can hear sound but not see any picture

Make sure everything is connected firmly - and in the right spot.  You may have connected the video cables to one input, but the audio inputs on a different input.

Also be sure you're using the correct video cable.  If you're using the HD cable kit (red, green blue video cables) be sure your TV actually has a component video input and make sure you aren't confusing the red audio cable with the red video cable.  Finally, make sure you flip the hidden switch to ON on the HD connector (probably one of the most common things folks overlook then go crazy trying to figure out what's wrong.)

Check to make sure you have the right Video input jack plugged into the correct jack in the rear of the TV
