  1. 1. Check the cables. If the video cable is unplugged, it won't show anything.

    2. Power cycle your PVR/Cable box (If you have one).

    3. Call your cable company to see if anything is wrong on their end.

    4. Check the troubleshooting section of your TV's manual

    5. If all else fails, your TV is probably still under warranty.

  2. U MIGHT HAVE THE VIDEO CABLES UNPLUGGED OR MAYBE U HAVE THE CHANNEL ON VIDEO INSTEAD OF THE RIGHT ONE!

  3. Since it is only 6 mos old it should still be in warranty.  Take it back to the store or contact the manufacturer.

Often times in production if a circuit board is touched by a human who for some reason has not attached their anti static suit to their work station( perhaps returning form lunch) the static electricity in the human can damage the circuit board just enough so it passes all the power on tests at the factory and then only lasts for a while then goes bad.

It happens a lot and it cannot be detected and if the tech is aware of the unprotected touch, he may just install it knowing he could get fired for not attaching his suit before starting work.

When you touch some metal in winter and you see a spark; that is roughly 3,000 volts of static electricity, and it only takes 50 volts of static electricity to kill a computer motherboard.

  4. I'd call the store you bought it from, usually you have a one year manufacturor warranty.
