My tweeters crackle in my car, i'm not sure what kind they are they might be stock since it's a 2000 celica. They crackle when the bass hits, and i've already tried bass blockers, they don't work. I think I should just buy new ones. what are some recommendations of good tweeters that aren't real expensive?

  1. i have (6) 1 inch kenwood kfc st30 with built in crossovers i got off amazon for like 27.00 a pair and are ver good quality

or if to pricy you can go with the quatium tweeters they screem but yes you need to replace your tweeters

  2. While your replaceing your tweeters why not replace the 6.5" speaker in that door as well, seeing how that is probably stock as well. Get at least a decent set of compnent speakers and replace the 6.5" speakers as well. Since the tweets are gone the next to go will be the mid bass. Look into CDT Audio on woofersetc.com, and also Elemental Designs (edesignaudio.com).
