  1. It depends on the unaccompanied minor regulations of your specific airline, but generally:

Once at check-in you will be asked to provide information about the unaccompanied minor. Airlines complete forms that normally include the child's identification; flight itinerary; a parent or guardian's authorization; and the details about who will be meeting the child at the destination (may require all or any combination of phone number, address, name, and relationship to the child).

  2. contact the airline n tell them the exact date of birth n age of ur son first........

if he is a minor then.....

...............dere r some formalities which has to be completed by u at the airport......

    including an unaccompanied minor form......

u hav to see that the flight on which u r making reservation for ur son that has to b a direct flight.........etc.

so u can contact the airline to know about their formalities in detail....

u can call on airline's toll free number.ask about the various formalities

n u will hav to drop ur son at the airport by urself, contact to the ground staff to inform them that ur son is flying alone then they will take him to aircraft n attention will b given to him.......

n u will have to stay at  the airport untill the flight get departed....... so call the airline to know better..........

  3. Which airline is he travelling with? You probably have to pay the unaccompanied minor fee (about $100/way)

A form has to be filled out where you fill out the details of the people leaving your son and meeting him at the airport.

  4. Nothing but a legal I.D.

Unless your in another country and he's traveling here.
