Well they are turning 13 soon and want to have a girl/boy sleepover. Here's the thing, the girls would sleep in the finished attic and the boys would sleep in the finished basement, but for the party they would be togethor. My twins have the same friends because they are in the same class. So they want to invite 15 girls and 15 boys and have a party togethor. My daughter also thinks they should have dancing.

It's in a month.

  1. no dancing, thats a no-no

and 32 13 yo kids is alot to spend the night.

make them narrow the list to 5-8 friends each. even still thats a lot. u stay with the girls, husband stays with the boys. no body is allowed to go off anywhere without ur permission and if they do u send their butt home

other than that, it should be fine

  2. That's a lot of 13 year olds! I'd tell them both to shorten the guest list... but it's totally up to you.

  3. I think that is too many kids. Why not narrow it down to 5 each, that will be a LOT easier on you. I think dancing should be okay as long as you are checking in on them every so often.

  4. I think that is way too many kids.  Think about it. How can you possibly watch that many children at once! You are only human. I like the idea of having the boys in the basement and the girls in the attic. They can have music on, but I doubt that there will be a lot of dancing.

  5. Soooooo.....what is your question??

If it is just a statement of facts......good luck and keep the Aspirin handy!

  6. I  think the list is fine for the party. Let them have fun! If you supervise while they dance why not...

as for sleep over i would have them pick the ones they are closer to to stay that is just to many kids to have stay!

    Good luck

  7. That number is fine just for the party part, but you might want to narrow down the number of people that are sleeping over.  If they all go into one room, for example the basement, just make sure that once someone falls asleep, make everyone go into the living room/outside/etc. , or their designated room.  When everyone is in their rooms, you should check up on them once or twice, just so there isn't anyone staying where they aren't supposed to.  Dancing is fine, but I'm guessing that there won't be much dancing anyways though.
