My two friends are having a birthday party ... gift ideas? [read]?

Okay, here's the deal: two of my friends are turning sixteen, and their birthdays are a week apart, so they're sharing a party. Girl#1 has been my best best friend for as long as I can remember. Girl#2 is also a friend, but not to the degree of Girl#1. What should I get them as gifts? Should I get them the same thing? Should I just give them both money in a card? Should I make something homemade? [I'm very very good at DIY stuff.]

I don't know what to do! I feel like Girl#1 deserves a nicer gift because she's my best friend but ... I dunno. =/

You shouldn't get them the same gifts. Buying or making things are alot better than giving someone a money card because it shows a that you put a lot of thought into the gift. It wouldn't be wrong to get Girl #1 a nicer gift, but you should also but some thought into the other girl's one.

Give them both gift cards. Same price but to different stores. Make it there fav stores. If you want to get creative make them really nice cards! You know them both the best!

here's what i would do. i would get both of them a gift card to a nice store and then make girl #1 a gift that brings back memories and shows her how much you care about her. good luck!

Well, if you feel like Girl #1 deserves a better gift and you don't to hurt Girl #2's feelings, then I think that you should give the same gift to both of them, but later, when Girl #2 isn't looking, then give Girl #1 something extra. It might be a bit expensive, but if it's worth it, go for it. I was thinking that you should give them both a gift card. And then, take Girl #1 to go shopping to spend her gift card and get her something else that she wants.

Give them gift cards to their favorite store, but put like a little bit more money on Girl #1's card.

Or, you can buy them both like a ticket to like a concert or show or something, and buy 1 for yourself, so you 3 can do it together.
