I have two femail kittens that are 9 months old. They play fight a lot but one is a lot rougher than the other kitten. She scratches more and bites hard to where the other cries. The other fights back but she's so nice...she paws and nibbles. Should I stop them from playing or just let them do their thing?

  1. as long as no blood is drawn, leave them alone. cats have a system of leadership. the strongest leads.

you can help the weaker one out if you like. grab the stronger ones tail in the middle of the fight, it will distract him and the weaker one gets a chance to get a few kicks to the head in. makes it a fair fight.

  2. Let them play.. I have two female kittens like that and it just happens to be that the one that cries all the time is a momma's girl. That is really just their personality! She will attack the other kitten but when it comes time to take some rough play she high tails it out of the room!

  3. Let them play.  One will always be more dominate.

I have two male cats the same age, I've has them since they were like 2 weeks old, one has always been more alpha

  4. let them do their thing as long as no one is drawing blood. If the nice one was hurting she would meow loud enough to tell the other one to stop , that is if they grew up together.

  5. i had kittens that did the same thing. we just let them play. none of them ever got hurt so we just let them continue their "fight". its part of nature. just let it go. they'll be fine (:
