  1. WHEN THIS HAPPENED TO MY SON..HIS PEDIATRICIAN TOLD ME TO WET A CLEAN BABY WASH CLOTH WITH WARM WATER AND GENTLY RUB HIS TONGUE...AND REPEAT AFTER HE EATS TIL IT'S GONE AND EVEN WHEN ITS NOT THERE TO HELP PREVENT IT FROM DEVELOPING...GOOD LUCK..CONGRATS ON UR NEW BABY...

  2. If the medicine's not working you might just have to keep giving the medicine and wait for it to get better. That happened with my son when he was a baby and he had it for a month before it got better.

  3. I found that over the counter medicines don't really work.  Call your dr and see what they suggest.  Thrush is really a yeast infection in the mouth, which to me sounds gross.  But adults can get it also.

  4. Take it to the pediatrician. or the doctor or something.

  5. take a wet cloth a gently rub it on the tongue i went thriugh the same thing with both of my kids

Daily also continue to give there the medicine it will go away

  6. take him/her back to the dr. and tell the dr. thats it's not helping they can guve you somthing stronger or diffrent but i would wait a week then go to thr dr. because everyones body acts diffrent

  7. I think you should contact the pediatrician and let him know.  He may be able to prescribe a stronger dose of this medication or perhaps change to a different medication that may help your child better.

  8. This question was asked a couple of weeks ago and there was some really great advice on what to do. Try to look up past blogs.

Make sure that medication is being placed on the sides of the mouth and on the tongue - the purpose is not to swallow it but instead it is a topical medication and needs to be placed on the area in order for it to work. You could try using a q-tip to apply it. If you are breastfeeding make sure that you have medication for your nipples as well. Make sure that the medication is given every 6hours. Bottles, nipples and pacifiers need to be cleaned.

  9. What medicine is she taking? Are you also taking anything? Have you sterilized everything that she does and could possibly be putting in her mouth?
