  1. definitely try to refrain from laughing yourself, keep the same routine.  be consistant.  be stern.  dont talk 2 them while he is in  time out and make sure not to let ONE time slide.  if you keep this up he will learn.

  2. He wouldn't laugh at you if he had a sore f***y!!

  3. well considering that you have done everything but spanking my guess is a spanking. or you can tell him in a stern voice that you are not kidding and he has to stay in timeout until he is ready to behave. .

  4. Let him laugh and just do as you are doing now.  Don't make the mistake of laughing, too.  Just keep everything consistent (same place for time-out) and very matter-of-fact and stern.  He will eventually grow out of this behavior.

  5. let her laugh

my mom did and i stopped doing it! one thing my dad did was make me stand on one leg

and don't talk to her when she is there

  6. Just take away toys and any stuff he totally loves and put him in a room with nothing fun for fifteen mins and then feed him stuff he does not like, my parents did it to me and the day after they said i was a little angel!

  7. He laughs because it's a game to him.  You take his toys, you put him in his room then you put him in time out.  You've turned discipline into a game and yes he finds it funny.  You haven't been consistent with him.  Either put him in his room or put him in time out and STICK WITH IT.  Stop playing the game.

  8. It sounds mean but works....I put my daughters lovey on time out. In her case it is a stuffed lamb she walks around with and wont do anything without. I put lamby (I know know, not really an originial name) in one corner and her in the other. She flips out and stops laughing then! I've seen my friend do the same thing, but with a blanket, thats where I got the idea. I just say to her "ok, you and lamby are being bad, it's time out time for the both of you!"

I also have spanked lamby, lol.

  9. make a special place for timeout. i babysit and whenever one of the kids needs to be put in timeout i take a chair, put it in the corner facing the wall. since he is 2 tell him he has to stay in timeout for 2 mins. and tell him you will not start the timer until he stops laughing.
