  1. Have your parents petition you, esp. if they're US citizens. Faster than if your younger sisters would petition you. Not by much. But hey, these are your only options. If you can wait 10-15 years, you'd still be 32-37 by the time the petition is approved. The only problem that I can foresee is if your parents would've died before the petition is approved.

  2. i agree with hot chick.  us citizen sibling petitioning a sibling (fourth category) takes a long time.  it doesn't matter whether you are married or not, one sister can petition for you and your husband and if any, your children.  expect a wait of 10-15 years and even longer if you are from mexico or the philipines.  if one parent was to sponsor you and your family, it'll take a long time too, b/c you would be in the third category: us citizen parent sponsoring their married children.  this category would take a long time too.

visit this website, as it'll tell you what it means by when i say "category," and an average of how long the wait would take:

    http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bullet...

scroll down and the first table you see is what i mean.

on the left column, it tells you category 1,2a,2b,3,4.  3rd would be us citizen parent sponsoring you and your family.  4th would be your sister sponsoring you and your family.    the dates you see on the next columns is the date when a petitioner submitted the petition paperwork to the us government to sponsor someone and the us government receiving it.  so if someone would turn in the application to sponsor you tomorrow, you would have to wait until 08/15/08 becomes current on the category and the country you're from.  as you can see, if you are from the philipines or mexico, it'll take a veeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy long time.

let me tell you also that as you check back monthly, as website gets updated monthly, the dates don't have to go up nicely. it can stay on the same date for months, and it can retrogresss.  check back monthly!

    good luck!

  3. yes, they can petition you. but it would take a LONG time. it would be much faster if your parents petition you. it doesn't matter if they are old.as long as they pass they eligibility, one of your sisters can co sign an affidavit of support with your parents.

  4. If your parents are U.S. citizens, they can petition for you. If they are permanent residents, they cannot petition for you.

Your sisters can petition for you, but it would take about 3 years longer than a petition by a U.S. citizen parent. The sister who petitions must be 21 or older.

Either way, it's a long wait. Nothing is stopping you from having one of your sisters petition and one of your parents petition at the same time.
