My uncle changed my mothers insurance policy without her knowledge he replaced my name with his as beneficary?

she got a confirmation letter about the change and she wrote them back, that the change was not authorized by her and wanted it changed back, what can be done to him for doing that because he had to forge a signature?

  1. She needs to go to the police and file criminal charges against him.  And, of course, switch the beneficiary clause back.


  2. The owner of a policy can change the beneficiary's name any number of times. So, apply for another change of 'nomination'. If you prefer a criminal case against forgery, try it separately.

  3. Who owns the policy?  Your mother or your uncle?  The owner is the party who has the authority to change beneficiaries.

  4. Let  the police know what your uncle has been up to.  You can never tell what this man will do next.   Let them confront your  Uncle,  Ask for protection if necessary.  Is it possible that he feels that your are not suitable to be the guardian of your Mother, or her estate?     The police can tell you what your next move is.
