My uncle was took by the INS, a center for immigration. We are trying to get him out...on bail.?

our lawyer is ignoring us. he is not doing any thing.it has been 6 weeks when they took him.. i really miss him, is there any way we can do anything. he does not have a family so we are the only ones that can help.. please help me out.. i am really worried. and i have not told anyone back home about this....please help me out. :(
