My unit in vietnam was called "the walking dead" by Ho Chi Minh. it's Di Bo Chet" can you translate to viet?

in english it's Di Bo Chet. can you give me the correct vietnamese spelling with tone marks

In vietnamese its also Di Bo Chet, however with accents, its:

Đi bộ Chết

Di bo chet mean "death from ( too much) walking".  Not a good translation at all.  Walking dead is closer to "Ma Troi" = roaming ghost.

Were you in the Marine corp?. What Hồ Chí Minh speaking of them as already deceased. I don't think "di bo chet" is English or is it? I thought in English should be "the walking dead".
