i'm 13 years old, 5'5, I've got an hourglass figure and I'm an athlete. I have a lot of muscle everywhere but they're especially in my legs. They make me look big.

I look like the last girl in this picture of the US olympics gymnasts:

but my upper body and arms is a lot more skinnier than that person. And I don't have any b***s.

I look so fat compared to my friends who look like shorter models HELP!!!

  1. you shouldnt complain about looking like alica sacramone she is amazing if you dont think you look as good as your friends the guys do

  2. you are only 13...wow if i could go back to your age knowing what i do now (total cliche i know)! personally i have spent too many years trying to live up to a standard set by vogue, cosmo, glamour...a standard that isn't even REAL. they take women who are among 1% of the population and then airbrush, photoshop and manipulate the pictures to make them look 'perfect'. what i am saying is that nobody looks like that, not even them. there is beauty in 'imperfection', because it would be BORING if we all looked the same. if you are not happy with yourself as a person (the inside of you) you will never be satisfied with the outside. i have personally had a couple plastic surgeries and it is NEVER enough until you are happy with YOU. you will keep finding new things to obsess over. i agree with the comment saying that your guy friends probably think you look great. guys are not only into b***s and the typical barbie stereotype. i mean, some are but they are not the ones you want to waste your time on anyway...ugh...i wish you the best and hope that you can see what i coudn't at your age. peace and love to you
