Question:

My upper eylid droops... Need help?

Okay, my right upper eye lid drops more than the left one. The result is one eye looks bigger than the other or looks like a lazy eye. Their really isn't anything wrong with my yes, they are not lazy and they both have good vision.

I was told that when I was like a year old I was hit with a rock or something over my left eye which I think damaged the muscles and doesnt let the eyelid droop down like normal.

This has been a major problem in my life. I get nervous and never look into peoples eyes. I wanted to become an actor and thought this would cause me many problems.

What can I do to fix this? How much would it cost?

Here are some pictures of me looking different directions.

  1. Ask an ophthalmologist who specialises in lid surgery, I have found that better than a cosmetic surgeon. They should be able to improve your ptosis without too much trouble. In Australia I think it would cost around $500 - $800, you will need a quote in your own country.

  2. Just approach a reputable cosmetic surgeon and get a quote. Looks like a fairly simple repair job. Good luck!

  3. its a ptosis

    thats what we say

you need to undergo a surgery.

    thanks
