Question:

My urine is brown and red?

This morning I woke up and noticed that my urine looked very dark. I just shrugged it off as my hazy morning vision. Just a few minutes ago though, I realized that my urine is actually slimy and quite brown/red. It hurts a lot to push out the thick liquid, and it smells kinda nasty. Any ideas?

  1. Bladder infection, kidney infection, kidney failure, or yeast infection.

  2. 911

  3. You should of really called 911, sometimes it can be really embarressing but you really do need to AT LEAST call the hospital and ask.

  4. There is a high chance you have kidney stones. It causes your urine to contain blood and to make your urethra hurt a lot. It is a serious matter because it can cause immense pain. I suggest you go to your Doctor. To get rid of them you either have to pass them(just wait for them to come out with your urine) or your Doctor can send you to hospital and they blast them with lasers(sounds silly but its true). In the mean time just drink a lot even though it hurts to urinate. Take some nurifen and get to the Doctor. Have a look at this website it has some info about Kidney stones.

  5. GET TO THE DOCTOR ASAP.

  6. youre very right. NASTY!

and it kinda sounds like youre getting your period. lol- youre a guy., hahaha

    seriously- get a doctor, NOW

  7. Go to a doctor. That's obviously not normal.

  8. maybe you have an STD dude get that checked out

  9. Well the red is blood and the brown is an infection. This could mean that you either have kidney failure, muscle death or something else.

    Bottom line:

You REALLY need to see a doctor because this isnt good.

However if youre really lucky urine does sometimes change color based on food you eat. Still, you better make that appointment.
