  1. It has happened to me  also.  Only the officer can tell the reason. I gave away my further attempts.

  2. if Visa officer thinks or doubts your intentions he will reject your application without assigning any reason, generally it takes 6 months to apply again, that is if visa officer has not put a special bar on reapplying after usual period of 6 months

  3. Mainly the reason is that you're unable to proof ties to your home country.  It means....

You are unemployed, or just got a job for a few months and may be ready to leave the job anytime soon...

You don't have family.. this means spouse and children, etc.

You don't have enough funds to convince the consul that you will be just visiting, and not looking for job..  etc.

Another factor is the country you're in. In certain countries, number of tourist visa issued by US embassies is close to zero.

  4. It's probably you didn't show enough "ties" to your home country...big bank account...close family member or spouse still in home country...good job in home country...anything that will show the consul you will go back to you're own country (assuming you are applying for a tourist visa).  you can apply as soon as your "status" changed from your previous interview when you were denied, so I suggest don't apply yet if there's no difference.  They usually don't tell you why and just give you a piece of paper when you are denied.  But from what I've heard from friends, their relatives who are previously rejected are now given multiple entry visas this year (US have quotas of visa given) so sometimes it's also luck.  Just try to see if many of applicants in your country are being given visas this season.  Good luck!

  5. I think you need to to a guided tour instead so at least they know that you will go back to your country and they will know that they can trust you to to become illegal alien.

  6. You should not showed your employer letter if you are applying for tourist visa. Showing that letter will prove that you will be there for employment. Thus you should apply for working visa. Visa the US embassy website for more details or call the US embassy for more information.

  7. Well, you can go back as soon as you can get another interview appointment. However, given what you've said here, I doubt you'd get a different answer at this  point. Maybe you should think about going somewhere else for vacation, or taking several vacations outside your country before reapplying. At least then you can help show your ties to your country. In general, unless something has changed in your life, you're likely to be rejected again. Only you can answer whether it's worth spending yet another $131 for a chance. If you keep doing it over and over in a short period, you begin to look more like you're desparate and less like a tourist.
