My v****a hurts and I have no idea why?

I'm a teenage girl. Well my body is. Anyway, I've had my period for a while, and I'm steady with it. Normally, I just get a little cramping and I get two days of blood and that's it. No bitchy-ness, nothing.

But this time was different. I'm extremeley moody, I got horrible cramping, and now my v****a just hurts. Like a really bad ache down there. it's my first day and I'm slightly heavier than usual.

What changed? Why does it hurt? By the way I'm not at all sexually active. If that's relevant.

  1. That happens to me every time I'm on. It's normal. Just take a warm bath and it'll help.

  3. Some periods are different than others.  Maybe you were just already in a bad mood and the period just set it off.  The ache is normal, I get that a lot.

  4. i aint sexually active either and mine does the same thing all the time it just hurts and kinda throbs idk why

  5. This can be normal, to have an achy feeling around the vaginal area when having your period.  Periods can change over time and get worse or better.  If this achiness persists and if it there all of the time when you have your period just ask your doctor the next time you are in.  Sometimes pain like that can signal endemetriosis.  If you haven't had a yearly check up, or are due to see your doctor ask about it.  Maybe see an OB GYN if it is concerning.
