  1. Do you mean caught fire? If so, the, yes, it's possible. Transmission fluid is a petroleum based product. Therefore it's both flammable and combustible. If enough fluid leaked on to a heat source such as your exhaust system then it can catch fire. Especially the catalytic converter, they get extremely hot.
