On average, Venus Fly Traps plants only get to be about 4 or 5 inches in diameter with traps about 1 inch long.  There are, however, different cultivated varieties that have been selected for their exceptional growth.  It is widely accepted that the cultivated variety that produces the largest traps is the B52 which, if grown correctly, usually has traps near 2 inches in length.

I have seen them at least 3-4 inches around
