My very first poem, please tell me honestly what you think!?

Question

How did we get here i ask?

Remember the friendship we once shared

I use to think we were spiritualy paired

I know I always let you down

I wish I had never made you frown

I can't explain the love I need

except to say it's yours indeed

why did I push so very hard

I should have known I'd be dealt this card

I was always so scared to let you in

I know I should move on but I don't know how to begin

you were my rock, a shelter from the storm

now look who's keeping you warm.

So anyways for what it's worth

I will love you until I leave this earth

forever I will think of you

perhaps I'll always be blue

it's a sad poem and full of emotions. but i like it because you have portrait a feeling for a lost love. it's right, we should always move on no matter what. your poem is a good beginning, write some more.

You clearly express sadness at a love lost but maintain hope that they may return.  I believe we've all had to deal with a situation such as this so with that said I hope things get better for you.
