My video camera is not compatable with windows vista!?

have a sony dcrpc120 and i cant upload my video via usb because the driver is not compatable....is there something i can do!!

  1. I had this problem.  Fortunately i was able to return the camera.  

    You may be able to receive assistance via the manufacturer of the camera; that being Sony.  that is what i would do.


  2. The DRPC120 is a MiniDV camcorder - capture the video via firewire.  If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card.  They're cheap, easy to install and readily available.  You'll probably need to get a firewire cable, too.

  3. vista is c**p, you should have bought xp..... maplan have a converter lead you can get so it wont matter.... bit expensive though

  4. a lot of things are not compatable with windows vista yet. i dont know why but they are trying to figure that out.

  5. the driver is the link that prevents you.

  6. Get a refund on the camera

  7. Go to a PC store and ask for assistance
