My video has no sound?

Question

when i play i back on the camera, i can hear it and see it..

then i upload it (it uploads as a mov file) and i play it..there is no sound.but there is picture.. then i convert it to an .avi.. theres still no sounds

and whenever i play it on windows media player.. it's no video.. only this screeching high pitched sound??

anyone tell me what the problem is?

Try buying a 3ft mini to mini audio cable from Best Buy or Radio Shack. Attach that to the headphones jack on the camcorder. Then attach the other end to the microphone imput on the back of the computer
