My video isn't working help?

it ws moved and since then it will not play. Have tried lots of variations and it will not work. We have sky any reasonable suggestions. please

My cooker has just stopped working and i cant get another one in time for christmas, no christmas dinner for my house this year

I think videotape is dead. You should transcribe your video library and write VCD movies to CD discs, and then use a disc player to play them. HDD recorders are cool, DVD recorders arent bad either.

About time you invested in a DVD recorder or Sky+ I think.

All I can suggest is to check all the cables.  If it is connected with scart, make sure you are connecting it to the correct scart socket on the TV/sky box.  Try swapping them about.

Video is not dead,despite what people say.Now,there has to be a reset procedure,try pressing off/on button,at the same time as play/stand by.Make sure all your cables are connected securely and check the batteries in the remote.Failing all that,it may be time to purchase a new video recorder,they are cheap enough,good luck.
