My video won't open in moviemaker, need help!!!?

I've got a file from a digital camera w/ a hard drive that i'm trying to put in to movie maker. It's a "Movie Clip" file, but moviemaker wont's open it. Suggestions?

wmmaker might not support mov

transfer video files from vcam thru file mgmt- windows explorer to a desired folder, convert video files to avi or wmv (try Super; Prism or WinMedia Encoder), then import to wmmaker
